No affiliation
Sanvaad is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any religion, denomination, religious organisation, place of worship, guru, priest or scholar.
For knowledge only
Sanvaad only states what the Bhagavad Gita says, with its reference (for example "Gita 2.47"). Its suggestions are not commands of any scripture or religion. For any religious decision, consult a qualified scholar of your faith.
Madhav is an AI
Madhav is an AI companion; "Madhav" is only its name. It is not Sri Krishna or God and never speaks on their behalf.
Stories and examples
Stories Madhav tells come from the scriptures, from the lives of saints as handed down in tradition, or from true incidents in published sources, and he introduces each by what it is. Tradition stories are not presented as history. Examples that begin "maan lijiye…" ("imagine…") are made up to illustrate a point.
Shlokas read aloud
Madhav's voice is generated by AI. When he reads a shloka aloud, his Sanskrit pronunciation may not be perfect; the verified text on your screen is the one to rely on.
Respect for all faiths
We respect all faiths equally. Sanvaad does not compare or rank religions, and hurting anyone's sentiments is never our intent.
Not a doctor or counsellor
Sanvaad does not provide medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. Sanvaad has no helpline of its own and is not a crisis service. If you or someone near you is in danger, please call your local emergency number. In India, the Government of India's free services are the national mental-health helpline Tele-MANAS (14416, official site) and the national emergency number 112. Outside India, free, confidential helplines for your country are listed at findahelpline.com. These services are not connected with Sanvaad, and their numbers can change.
